What we’ll actually do
Before we start planning where the business is going, we need to understand where it is now.
We’ll take a proper look at your numbers, how the business is currently performing and what you want it to do for you.
Then we’ll turn all of that into a financial plan with clear priorities, so you know what you’re working towards and what the numbers need to look like to get there.
This isn’t about handing you a spreadsheet full of numbers. It’s about giving you a financial plan you can actually use to run your business.
From there, we can work through things like:
- Your current revenue, costs and profitability
- What the business needs to earn each month
- What you want and need to take from the business
- Your pricing and whether the numbers behind it work
- Cash flow and upcoming financial pressures
- Staffing and what the business can afford
- Planned investments or changes in the business
- Your financial goals and what needs to happen to reach them
How the Growth Accelerator works
This isn’t a one-hour call where we talk about your business and send you away with a list of things to think about.
There’s work on both sides.
First, we’ll have a 20-minute call.
We’ll talk briefly about your business, what you need help with and what you want to get from the Growth Accelerator, so we can make sure it’s the right fit before you book.
Then we get into the numbers.
Before our first session, you’ll need to make sure your financial information is reasonably up to date so we have a reliable starting point.
A one-hour strategy session.
We’ll go through where the business is now, what you want to achieve and the financial decisions or challenges we need to work through.
Then I do the work.
I’ll take everything we’ve discussed, dig into the numbers and build your financial plan around your business and your goals.
Finally, we’ll meet again for an hour.
I’ll take you through the plan, explain what the numbers mean and we’ll make any tweaks we need to.
You’ll leave with a financial plan you understand and can actually use in your business.
